Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP Grant)  We are excited to have been awarded this three-year $1.4 million grant.  Robert Mecklenburg was selected to be the coordinator of this grant.  Rob has been a physical education teacher with D200 for 21 years and brings both knowledge and enthusiasm to this exciting grant.  This program will enhance the health and physical body and thereby increase mental alertness and agility in all our students who choose to take on the challenge to fully participate.

0-3 Prevention Initiative programs offer coordinated services for expecting parents and families with at-risk children ages birth to 3 years. The aim of the Prevention Initiative is to provide early, continuous, intensive and comprehensive child development and family support services to help families build a strong foundation for learning to prepare children for later school success.  This program provides parent advisors who are seeing success with our young mothers in their ability to cope with motherhood and continuing education. Encourage all young mothers to contact Verda Dierzen Early Learning Center 815-338-8883.
